To promote our historical "Muskrat" Metis culture, heritage and pride
To share cultural information about our historic communities and families by holding workshops, and sharing information about our music, dance, art, food, language, stories, songs, folklore, and anything else that ties our communities together through our culture or heritage
To gather together to celebrate and practice our culture, while welcoming everyone to our yearly festival!
To research our Metis history and share this information with our community, especially our youth
Our logo proudly displays the blue infinity symbol, representing the French Canadians who are our fur-trading great grandfathers,
and their unions with Native American women resulting in our blend of cultures and population of the many scattered,
small towns and villages along our waterways that make up our historic Muskrat communities.
